I am curious as to how MUS will prove what stolen rubies were worth to insurer.
Insurer could easily say prove the value ... and the fact that MD was so far out with worthless rubies for auction (which he described as high quality and worth in excess of $100 per carat).
This would indicate that the stolen lower quality rubies were probably worth nothing. The saddest part of this is the fact that the guard that got killed was unbeknown to him protecting worthless rubies, that MUS BOD thought had some value.
