I thought it would be sorted by CommSec as they specifically ask to share your tax file number and email details with registries. Or at least, when I was setting it up, I understood that to be the case.

Again, I was new, when I set it up I literally had no idea what I was doing. And no checklist of what to expect :-( I had no idea what the different roles of different organisations are in shareholding, and its all knowledge people seem to assume you already have.

This was a few months ago when I started.

Now, after realising (thanks to some of you on these AGY threads) what I should do, I went and did it

But it is this very experience that I learnt from. Which is a shame, as I missed out because of it :-(
