Believe it or not - if you take a 20 year perspective - Carnarvon Petroleum. I bought about $600 worth of Orca Petroleum back in about 1987. The company lost money, consolidated shares, changed its name to Metana Petroleum, and then to Carnarvon Petroleum. Earlier this year I received a cheque for $5 from Carnarvon, claiming I hadn't informed them that I wished to retain my less-than-a-marketable parcel. The directors fobbed me off and tried to play pass the parcel when I requested my shares back. I know they're doing better now, but personally I hope all their wells strike water.
