China and India have little choice. Both support huge populations with massive and accelerating polution problems. They are not moving to EV on a whim, they must do something now, Even a crisis of some sort will not change the fact that we are at this time in the process of moving away from burning fossil fuels for transport. China has a massive population ,a huge car industry and a huge polution problem so it stands to reason that they will lead on this, comparitivly Australia has a tiny population ,no car industry and an insignificant polution problem. I wouldnt say Everywhere else globally are dragging their feet ,countries like Norway are aggressively moving to EV . I think this change we are witnessing is real ,demand for lithium is increasing and will continue regardless of worlld events because this increased demand is already a response to a world event. Catastrophic Pollution. There are places where the sun doesnt shine anymore in China
