If you had bothered "or" were able to see my posts, virtually all, from when you first brought up the subject, "some standing here", that is predominantly what I have been addressing = as you say - ONE point at a time as this particular subject IS NOT the same subject that "follows" around 5 chapters later.
Ex Mark 9:1, the preceding verses in Ch 8 is the key subject here and the bases of "some" being rewarded, not judged and Not everyone as the other event, second event covers.
So the first subject is the comforter area and Pentecost = No question about it.
Right or wrong, in the past I have felt you were pretty good at seeing or analyzing word structure etc, so to be honest, this is why I have been so shocked that you haven't been able to see the clear distinction??? I'm lost for answers or how to explain what I'm seeing regarding this?
