CommSec resources analyst Pieter Bruinstroop said a quick calculation of the value of the find led to a share valuation of about $1.50 for Innamincka, which was close to where it closed.
Mr Bruinstroop cautioned that the development costs Innamincka would incur via further drilling and getting its oil to market could not be calculated yet.
