On the subject of the top 100 stocks I was reading an article in one of the newspapers a few days ago that contrasted the top 100 Australian stocks with the top100 American. The point made was that the Australian top 100 was far more of a rag bag than the American. Apart from the banks and a few of the big miners I certainly wouldn't put any of them in a drawer and forget about them!
