ARL vs AUz vs CLQ, page-70

Hi all- I forgot to remind everyone that it’s Cup Day today- if possible, do to put and enjoy at least 1 beer with the crowd- a bit of socialising and rough housing a couple times a year is good for us! I refused to look at my stocks etc, even read HotCopper or any of my emails last Sunday and man oh man did it do me the world of good after years of at least running a few numbers- every. single. day.
Not saying take your eyes off the road today but you know, don’t forget to enjoy life a bit along the way- this will make us money over time. Another definite? We will expire someday so get out there!

Especially on a consolidation/profit taking day such as today! No use hitting F5 all day while we miss out on a few free laughs at the local idiots at the pub! ( luckily most pubs have mirrors in the toilets so I can always find at east one knuchklehead to chuckle at* ).

To our non Australian/Kiwi friends- try to find a way to watch the Melbourne Cup online, pour yourself at least a small glass of something you like, enjoy our silliness and get in to the Aussie rhythms, don’t forget- ARL etc are still dependant on the localised tempo.

( it’s on in about 2 hours from now, around 3 p.m Sydney time, oh ok... Melbourne time! ).
