Well, back in the days I was flying gliders, it was explained as the water in the air gets pushed up to condensation-level and your white fluffy clouds form after which it is pushed further up to a level where the air, as it cools and therefore no longer can hold the same amount of moisture, droplets are growing in size and they fall towards the ground. Pretty sad being here discussing the weather ! I would prefer a lively SP movement argument
