MDR is under the Healthcare sector according to GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard).

But are they strictly Healthcare?

I classify groups like Ramsay, ResMed, Cochlear as Healthcare

Could MDR also be part of Software and Services? They supply Software and Services to Healthcare.

Have been following BUD recently but don't hold. They are part of Software and Services sector.

A look at their recent quarterly they recorded $862k revenue, half of which was Govt R&D rebates.

BUD has a market cap of almost $400M, MDR has $64M.

Sure, BUD does have quite a war chest from a recent cap raise as does MDR with cash on hand and the recent EBOS placement.

BUD also appear to be cranking out some good announcements - some international and a recent one with Telstra.

Questions for anyone to form a response/opinion?

Markets are forward looking but with the most recent financial statement from BUD with less than $1M revenue, does this suggest an inflated market cap (almost $400M)? Are they overvalued?

Is Software and Services a 'sexier' sector than Healthcare (at the moment)?

Do some sectors and stocks from those industries overshoot value because of their classification?

If MDR was under Software and Services, might there be a different market cap?

I'll say when and not if - when MDR break internationally, could this be a catalyst for a three digit market cap?
