Lew is in the retailers "Hall of Fame" quite literally and McInnes whilst having trouble keeping it in his pants also has a record of being a superb retail man, hence Lew snapping him up when nobody would touch him.
They own 11% of MYR directly (quite possibly more via derivatives), MYR needs them not the other way round.
The board really don't care if MYR go down as long as they keep sucking up millions of $'s as it goes down, they are quite literally fighting for their jobs and not the company.
I'm voting with Lew (not that I've been indecisive in how I talk about it)
