"Direct Injection technology is proven in terms of performance and emissions reduction, and has now been installed as OEM equipment on hundreds of thousands of small engines (primarily outboard motors and European scooters). Envirofit has now developed and carefully tested a retrofit kit for 2 stroke motorcycle engines, which are commonly used throughout Asia for commercial transportation, such as tricycle taxis. The initial development work has been completed on a Kawasaki 125cc motorcycle, however the first production kit will be implemented on the Yamaha RS 100T motorcycle. Other Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Suzuki kits will subsequently be developed. In addition to the custom engine calibration, the Envirofit kit utilizes a re-engineered cylinder head, air compressor, wiring harness, and custom bracketry. All other parts can be termed as ‘off-the-shelf’ components.
