The Minister must not approve an action consisting of or involving the construction or operation of any of the following nuclear installations:
(a) a nuclear fuel fabrication plant;
(b) a nuclear power plant;
(c) an enrichment plant;
(d) a reprocessing facility.


I also found out France 75% power is from nuclear. Canada has its own nuclear power plant called "CANDU". We have uranium, thorium that we exports to china/india. There is no reason why we can't do it. COAL is shit, low yang power plant in Victoria sits besides a big open cut mine and lost of big large track of land. While our own uranium mines foot print is a lot smaller.

PS: it looks like the Magenta party would need to push for legislative change before we can even use nuclear for power or on subs.
