Lordie, think you're referring to the late Flo Jo there!
Poor Flo Jo went from boiled lollies and an average running career in the early '80's to a massive new body and a beyond human time in the 100 metres at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. I think her record still stands and would have seen her win a mens final not too many years earlier.
Sadly she died in her 30's a few years ago denying that she ever took performance enhancing drugs. Strangely she never ran after Seoul, preferring to avoid scrutiny.
