There's $1trillion of superannuation and growing by 10% per year. The Australian market is only around 2% of the global market, a major part of this super fund should flow offshore. Platinum specializes (and very well indeed) in offshore markets. Though PTM has outperformed its benchmarks, the Australian market has had a very good run with Perpetual, an Aussie specialist, outperforming Platinum- the tide should turn. In particular, Japan and the Euro zone are Platinum's areas of expertise. Interesting to note (little reported)that Germany is currently leading a Euro revival in terms of productivity and competitiveness.
