A loan Guarantee was discussed wrt to Paducah in today's presentation, I reckon the same will happen with Wilmington, It has to be, because as we both know, Silex don't have enough to support their part (up to 76%) of the US$1 billion for the building of Wilmington.
If the US Government want to have a means to clean up the Used Nuclear Fuel mess and also fix their security of supply issues wrt to enriched Uranium, then the Government will have to step up to the plate.
The Russian REMIX system is going ahead, it is for all intents purposes what GEH were proposing in their 2009 PDF which I posted here earlier, I believe Silex have turned that on it's head, it will allow the use of recycled UNF in pretty much all of today's reactors, not just the fast reactors like the Russians will supply.
