G'day, fellow EMH holders.
I have been absent from this forum for quite a while but have used recent (unjustified) weakness to top up my holding.
I too don't believe in paying or incentivising directors for non-performance, however I believe there is a total misunderstanding about how Resolution 8 and the CDI issue works.
These are NOT free shares but rather a form of share loan or glorified option.
If you bother to read the explanatory statement you should understand that the CDI’s are issued to the directors at the 5 day vwap which is effectively the exercise price.
So let's say they are issued at 80c, at 90c they would be 10c in the money – NOT 90c in the money as seems to be the misconception here.
Personally, I think KC works his butt off for EMH and does a great job doing so.
If, according to your MISUNDERSTANDING of how this CDI issue works, you believe that it is extravagant, then with all due respect, you need your head read.
