Mac's chart is a very good demonstration as to why I bought a big hunk of MPO the day before yesterday and the reason I quickly sold out yesterday. The blue line is a moving average. MPO is trending down. But each time the SP breaks away from the MA line to the downside (historically) it returns in a day or 2. The thinking was that as MPO was already so low it was due for a turn around and I may have been catching the bottom. But if this was not the bottom at the very least the SP should have returned to the trend line and I could have got out with a small profit (yes, in that case it would be a trade but that was intended as the back up plan). To my horror the SP did not start turning up towards the MA yesterday but skirted even further away. Have a look at Macs upside down chart. The SP has not been this far below the trend line since those couple of terrible days at the peak of the correction.

I'm sorry but it's not a good look. But then again maybe it is now just oversold. Anyone game to try buying it for a trade ?? Ask yourself punk, are you feeling lucky ?? Well do ya ??
