a mate of mine, with very little sharemarket knowledge, is a current subscriber to fat prophets. It has become a religion to him. He preaches constantly about them. His plan if they recommend a stock is to place a buy under their price guide, and if he gets them, he is of the belief that he's on a sure thing. He purchased vre at close to 40c and has just averaged down with more around 25c. He has done this with a number of stocks know, and to me, his portfolio is not looking healthy. His view is that they are all good companies, will bounce back, because fat prophet like them. be careful, research, and don't believe that one group can print money cheers
