Sileach is more diverse it's true.
But it is more environmentally detrimental (Hydrofluoric acid), higher costs, returns lower grades and is less proven (scalability?). Probably a reason they wanted L-Max...
Seems to me there is a reason LIT have been quiet on Sileach and looking more at recycling.
It still has some application and will serve LIT well but it's no L-Max
