Can someone please shed some light on the way the company could be taken over or bought, and how that can affect the near term share price?
My understanding is that generally when an entity is looking to bid on a company, they will suppress the share price as much as possible to manipulate a lower VWAP. So if there is genuine accumulation and "capping" going on right now, how can the share price possibly go much higher than it already is? Or will it come down to a bidding war where whoever has the most money wins? For example if a company bid 2 billion for AVZ, then that would translate to a 2bil market cap?
Cheers!
