Interesting that Mr. Brissenden took his program down kindy lane with the derogatory Abbott graffitti posted above by Maze.

What did that add to the story.? Any ABC Nabobs reading this have an explanation?

We know it wasn't just a cheap shot at Abbott when there was no cheap shot at anyone else, because the ABC is the National Broadcaster, they're more mature than that, aren't they?

They have a charter, which they zealously uphold, for the good of the country, impartial and all that..as we're constantly reassured.

They're not immature, they're not spiteful, they take great pains to be excessively balanced and impartial...perhaps Michael did the artwork himself and was too modest to allow footage of him adding the finishing touches..?
Perhaps they really wanted to do a programme on Australian fine art, but their swingeing budget cuts meant they were forced to try and kill two birds so to speak. Because it is a fine piece of work, an especial honour of a former Prime Minister. This is common practice in all countries around the world, honouring their ex holders of high office ..you will "find it so"

Or was it just a mistake? A slip up. Did the editors miss it ? Did Michael not see it, and just accidentally walk past as he delivered his lines?

Ahh, our taxpayer funded national broadcaster. Never controversial, always respectful to all, even those who they may not like very much..always of the highest of standards and impartiality.
We know, because they tell us so.
