I'm a little confused here, you say you can't find much on Rivas, yet back in February you were actively talking about Rivas, Marcus Barron, and other internal matters. If you can stalk the company on LinkedIn, you can just as easily do a few Google searches to find out more about Rivas, he's pretty well documented.

Regarding 6-12 months, a brain surgeon tasked with removing a cancer isn't going to cut in blind. He's going to do as much diagnostics as possible before hand to assess the situation before making the first cut.

A large business is no different, it takes time to determine which of your staff are good, bad, or simply poisonous. You can't always trust first impressions, and you can't simply slash jobs all over the place until you understand the full situation. In the case of CH, I strongly believe the majority of management needs/needed replacement.

I think Lev is on the right track here, trying to uncover issues with the previous management. I think Rivas is trying to do the same thing, without getting himself removed from his role.
