This drug repurposing, or polypharmacology, is becoming more and more prevalent, as the one target one drug paradigm that started ~20yrs ago has resulted in less successful drugs, than these multitarget drugs based on phenotypic response (as opposed to merely genotypic knockouts). Another example is Viagra, originially purposed to lower blood pressure haha.

Had to write an essay on the "Polypharmacology on Neurological diseases: Toward 21st century treatments" for my Chemistry Honours. A lot of interesting papers on the topic.

Makes me think the HIIT platform could be a real hit if DXB is able to diversify after focusing on DMX and gaining revenue. A lot of potential in DMX, but IMO the HIIT platform could mean many many more DMX style opportunities in the future.
