How about doing something in the way of lithium – it’s the one key ingredient missing from their one stop EV battery supply shop.

I have to wonder whether their ion technology could be used to extract lithium from brines and eliminate all the problems being faced currently by the many impurities that exist in solution. If they are able to simply recover pure lithium economically and leave all the impurities in the brine there could be good money to be made as the demand for lithium is expanding dramatically. This could also help the world to avoid a potential bottleneck in the supply of lithium which in turn would slow the transition to EV vehicles.
