Sorrento details emerging

Well it seems there is some action in Sorrento, thankfully. At this stage it looks like another cash-sink, but here's some details to consider:

    > The business name "Sorrento Brewhouse" was registered with ASIC on 2 November 2017
    > They now have a Facebook page - just search for Sorrento Brewhouse. Nothing to see yet.
    > The liquor license (No: 32301541) still shows it trading as "Three Palms" although the licensee is Sorrento Brewhouse Pty Ltd. There are some significant restrictions on the license, so this is unlikely to be a big cash generator - patron numbers are small and there are restrictions on amplified music in the outside area which is about two-thirds of the allowed patron volume (140pax). There is no provision for takeaway beer, and no application for such a license in play. Seems like a missed opportunity.
    > Demolition of the open area sructures started very recently according to the Broo Facebook page, so unlikely to be ready for the annual Christmas/New Year rush. Another missed opportunity.
    > The registered office of Sorrento Brewhouse was being offered for lease as recently as 22 October 2017. Assume this will be short term lease to run the project from, but gives us a sense of how advanced (or not) this project is.

In summary, there's clearly action, but very unlikely to meet the deadlines outlined in their operations update. Hospitality venues typically run in deficit for their first year or two as their sweet-spot is developed/found.

Again, looking forward to hearing from Kent and the Board at the AGM on this one.
