Free, your comment there about high-profile HC pumpers touches on something I've been wondering about lately... how pervasive do you think it is that the high-profile members (and I'm definitely thinking some of those with hearts) here consistently use HC as a tool for boosting their stocks?
I am assuming that nearly all of the successful traders here would generally take their positions before posting their research and making positive comments about stocks. Many stocks posted on the STT forum see an immediate rally after research from top members has been posted. It is only natural to want to raise awareness about a stock once you are in, but my question is I guess really around whether enlisting the HC fan squad might actually be an integral part of some members' trading strategies? And whether there might actually be a much higher percentage of top-posters doing this than we would want to believe?
Perhaps a bit conspiracy theory-ish, but following some hearters around on HC has made me increasingly wonder whether this may not be uncommon at all...
