You are quite right Ind, and they will find much more "structural' gold. A geologist at a DEG presentation said that he has worked at four Wits companies and been underground in 16-17 mines and never seen gold. Because it is fine, it is also very evenly deposited. He said the only similarity was the age.
The presenter, Simon Lill, had no answer and the moderator such the meet down. Personally I think the nuggets are sourced from structural deposits which is why I think DEG will find a lot more over time. As you say, less risk than the others.
