Third: something notably lacking in this diatribe is any investigation whatsoever about why those changes were made. It’s just assumed that they’re the result of nefarious action.

Fourth: that’s really, really, really not how you calculate a trend. Really.

But back to the main point: what giss were saying about the temp anomaly for 1950.

In 1987 they recorded a temp anomaly of .5C and forty years later in 2016 that temp anomaly has been reduced to just .05C !
