Only in my opinion,
But with the results we have had over the last few years I have been a holder, we all agree that we should have had offers.
What if we have. And those offers have just been conversations on the phone and not formal. If you were a fly in the wall in McCol’s office, during partnering agreements, would numbers have been spoken about?
Would one of the majors said we’ll give you say $1.70 to a response of, come back when there is a 3 in front.
Only ‘formal’ offers need to be announced to market. I would almost guarantee that informal offers are discussed in companies all the time.
It’d be interesting to have a frank conversation with board members.
Now, if a low ball offer was accepted, would others come to the table with a counter to stop the others having it??
That would get CAVATAK to the market faster and help many many more people.
As I said, this is all only my opinion..
