It is a very sad fact that 50% of the popuation when they reach retirement male will have less than $50 000 and female $35 000. There are 3 000 000 people who would like to retire in the next ten years but 98% will not be able to retire as they will only have a max $300 000 and there own home that is all the assets they have. Most if not all who retire have no money left after three years and go onto a pension so they then live in provity with around $20 to $ 50 a week for food. Now at this point in time when they retire two years after they get devorced that is 50% of then. There is also a small matter of 20% of the work force can not work after 60 years of age due to ill health or disability. This is a rich Country but to have so many live in provity for the last years of there life seens wrong to me. All the above can be checked on the various Gov. departments that is what i have done.
