I'd like to believe it ,but can't see CNE reducing to 10%. Hope to be wrong . If correct, unless the rules are different in England, I expect they would need to inform the British stock exchange tonight our time. Can't see CNE being allowed to trade with such a rumour circulating. They will surely have to confirm or deny ASAP. Probably little impact on BP, but it's shareholders also need to be informed, if true. FAR and Possibly WPL would also have PE rights, if the price is to CNOOC's satisfaction. An interesting week ahead, and if true we will finally get the recognition we've all been waiting for.
