I believe that they expected that launch was going to happen but hard to judge in a different time zone but and there are so many things to take into account with the tech etc so it was not a forgone conclusion that it would all happen!

If things didn't work out and it didn't launch till Monday they possibly could have gone into a TH followed by a suspension till launch and if they had a technical issue that dragged on or and equipment malfunction then further suspension and how would that look?

So IMO they done it the right way!

I think before people criticise they should put themselves in the same situation and it ain't easy!
Of course hindsight makes many people feel like experts..

The launch was probably always the goal but not a forgone conclusion so TH then technical issues followed by suspension would have been a disaster!
