An aside.
As you stated JC, the nugget below was found near trenching operations south of Karratha.
It is really intriguing because although it fits the weathering/reworked theory, it seems an absolute stand alone in terms of size and shape. She’s no watermelon seed that’s for sure! Has anyone been able to offer an explanation for the appearance of this nugget when compared to all the smaller seed like nuggets from Purdy’s and Comet well?  Was wondering if it was a one off find.
It’s hard to make it fit any theory other than placer or modified placer theory.
