damien83 I don't see why it can't be done, although if you're around 26 you should enjoy the social aspect of work as trading is a lonely business.

I would say build up your capital to around $100k and you'd have a good base.

Its difficult I find, to get past all the wood from the trees as most people offering advice are making a living off that and not trading despite what they say. So I don't think you can trust anyone but yourself.

I think if you are a focused determined person who is not a sheep you'll probably be ok.
