I think the words "they got their result" closes the door completely, if you see 26 weeks as the only period worth review, whereas, they got a result based on the trial parametres leaves open a door, afterall, the dynamic systems the NTcell are now active in are ongoing and there is no time limit and even tho a placebo effect can last several years it will taper off, some quicker than others, as such, some implant patients should see an accelerated up-curve in remedial effect the further out we go, some quicker than others.....
you could ask why wasnt the placebo effect equally shared as none of the patients knew, but, the physical insult on the brain, or inflammation, caused by the implants had dealt with that, keeping in mind that the brain is active in all ways at all times, so just because we do not translate conciously an effect the brain is monitoring itself and making its own adjustments regardless of opur observation of it.... subjectively speaking .....and we could argue that the higher doses had a negative affect which was part of the exercise to discover the unknowns and unknowables about the physical impact pre-dopa affect
