Very difficult to follow your train of thought here. Not sure your key messages are all that coherent in fact. A response to couple of items mentioned though:
(1) can you identify any listed mining company still in operation after nearly 20 years that hasn’t made M&A miscalculations? It’s a relative perspective and how you go about digging yourself out of a hole. Think RIO and BHP.
(2) the KCN register is a tricky one. Although there is no certainty I’m quite sure most of the top 20 (other than MTR) will side with the current board given the potential turnaround already set in motion. The top 21 to 5o who will be relatively new holders will likely do the same in order to protect their recent gains.
