    The reason they would want to eliminate he small shareholders is to cut down admin costs, mailing reports, etc. A few years ago, in the dot-com boom, MCL was almost $1.00 per share, and a lot of small parcels probably exist on the register. The SPP with subsequent sale of non-marketable parcels is a legitimate method of tidying up the register. And, it brings in money as well.

    As for the four shareholders, I know two of them well, and the third, only through one of the others. He is probably your mate. I am the fourth.

    I visit the other forum occasionally, but havent posted there yet. I saw your bet, and am in two minds about it. However, we'll see... I hope you are correct.
