    Thanks for the replies to date.

    MRA is around 81c at present with a dividend yield of about 11.5% fully tax deferred.

    The resource plays in these highly speculative stocks people are going on with will come to an end - blind freddy can see it - just a matter of when, not if.

    As for the Aussie Dollar around 90c, sure if in 2-3 years time when MRA's hedging comes up for renegotiation there will be a cost IF the Aussie is above about 85c.

    But at present, there is limited downside potential for this stock below 80c.

    Even if say the dollar valuation results in MRA reducing its dividends by 10%, that results in a 10.5% return instead of an 11.5% return. Not much of a big deal at all.

    MRA is a good defensive play if you are looking for steady returns around the 10% mark and fully tax deferred.
