They have been calling the demise of Bitcoin for quite a few months and it probably will sustain a significant but healthy correction at some point. It may not. I think it currently represents around 56% of the total cryptocurrency market. Is that healthy? Probably not. The dot.com crash did not signal the end of tech. It just brought back into the market, a more sensible perspective of potential tech company earnings. Some of the stuff that went on back then was farce. I see this situation as being different because we are talking about one player, Bitcoin, not hundreds and hundreds of tech companies which had valuations that were mind-blowingly rediculous.
