I gather from what you say refresher that one patient out of 72 is not good odds
Maybe you are correct refresher or maybe the other patients were so advanced in the cancer that the tissue left for the kidneys was irrepairable.
On the flip side this treatment will probably not be allowed to be used if there is an alternative FDA approved medication when the cancer is not so advanced
That leaves a small window of opportunity to use the drug between irrepairable cancer and more benign forms of the disease so maybe 1 in 72 is not so bad a odds after all but not being of the medical field I dont really know.
