The only difference is Cousins has not tested positive for drugs and the details of the other players has been hushed up by the AFL and the clubs, at times with court action.
Yes Cousins has now been arrested and charged with possession, but all those players who have tested positive have also been in possession of illegal drugs.
The Eagles are in their right and should now sack Cousins as him staying out of trouble was a term of his contract.
However a B grade lawyer could make a case against the AFL if they tried to take action against Cousins going to another club assuming another clun wants him.
