How to Run a Serious Company

Let me go on record as stating that I think this whole "conglomerates play" is very interesting and definitely exciting; however, at the end of the day, there'll probably only be a couple of mines.
In the meantime, there'll be plenty of small hopefuls that'll use this play to "mine the market" and ramp their share prices.
Has it occurred to MAT shareholders why MAT isn't on the ground with a metal detector on their Parabudoo leases?
I have thought about this long and hard.
MAT has the money & personnel to do it, and PP was definitely well ahead of the pack in pegging the land over 12 months ago - so why aren't we out there?
I believe it's because PP realises that the Pilbara plays are a mania that will come to pass and he doesn't want MAT to be tarred with the same brush that the other Pilbara hopefuls will be tarred when the music stops.
If MAT's neighbours find something, then great, we'll also move up; if not, MAT has lost nothing - no time, no money, no resources, and perhaps most importantly, no credibility.
PP is in the process of turning MAT into a "proper" company.
We are now producers with a large regional footprint - something few explorers achieve.
We have positive cash flow, a JORC complaint resource and ENORMOUS exploration potential.
This is no easy feat to achieve.
The market is slowly waking up to this fact and it's being reflected in the share price.
However, I strongly suspect that a SERIOUS rerating is not far away.
