The "Technology Assumptions" Appendix gives "data input' & "calculated" numbers but no calculation logic. Of the 14 options tabulated only 2, their preferred scenario "Energy Efficiency" and 'Demand Response", have incentives / subsidies priced in.
It is a November 2017 paper with no back up data, not yet peer reviewed & detailed analysis yet to be done. It's a bit early to trumpet the thread header.
