On reflection, would you agree that stockbroking is not a profession?
Is it a vocation founded upon specialized educational training, the purpose of which is the supply of disinterested objective counsel and service to others, for a direct and definite compensation, wholly apart from expectation of other business gain? Clearly no.
Can one ever provide disinterested objective counsel about a stock they do not derive a financial benefit from, either directly or indirectly? For example, how many folks here on hotcopper have you ever witnessed trawling over the entrails of a stock they are not interested in? The very fact that each participatory post must disclose a sentiment and position proves a connection to a vested interest.
Anyway, blah, blah, blah....
You are the closest thing to a financial professional I have come across so far. Keep up the great work and kept the bastards honest for all of us mug punters.
