Yeah I agree with your sentiment. It makes no sense to me. I won't bang on about it, unless anyone is openly willing to support that theory, backed with some solid reasoning. Otherwise let's just put it to bed.
Let's also not go down the track of us vs them. It's not like that, synergies is what will benefit us all the most.
