Hi Champee,

The way I read AFR's latest, a potential bid has been withdrawn. You too? Have you just mentioned as comment on what's happening in the sector, or were you envisaging perhaps a CAJ pick up of one of their (I-Med's) Melbourne practices? I wouldn't have thought I-med would be breaking anything up....

Hoping really that CAJ's acquisition sights, (sites ), are set on the likes of a Southern Cross Medical Imaging, or a Steg or a Direct Radiology.

A couple of them newer fresher practices, grown sufficently perhaps to be thinking where to next; who'd entertain the idea of merging under a wider umbrella for the right offer. Or, the other with origins in the '40's (a tad before MRI of course), whose current partners could be thinking of retirement or whatever.

All just fanciful conjecture on my part as you'd imagine, but it will be interesting to see how what is currently behind the scenes breaks out into the open - signalling the commencement of our more reasoned, better managed growth plan.

One assumes location is as important as many other factors here, and I note another practice v ery close to Olympic Park too, but what would be the point of duplicating our services somewhat, unless it was also to 'take out' some of the competition, and really we aren't big enough to be thinking like that.

Yeah, thanks for asking mate. I did pay a little over the odds for a top up at 30.5 as it turned out, but have kept the order I had in at 25.5. See what happens.

I don't truly think 'over the odds' in the longer view, as I am patient enough to wait for a return to the dollar days of when was it, 2014 sometime? But you prefer not to fall too foul of the almost inevitable pull back post that aggressive buying.
