Start of another week. Who knows, RISC could even be today. The "month or so" is in the "or so" period for 2 weeks already.

With regards to the PE being affected by the sell price, I have a feeling that if CNOOC wanted SNE and I think they do, in fact I think they wanted to be in the lot including The Gambia, price is irrelevant to them.

I was in TLW when CNOOC came out of the left field and took out a third of the Ugandan field. Again there was a PE saga by TLW with ENI which lasted years. But that was due to corruption involvement though.
But this is interesting. guess who the other third went to? TOTAL. Hardmano, you might still remember
all that.

Bottom line, CNOOC could very well be waiting. But they'll be silly to show their hand first when they can trump in thru FAR and pay no more than the competition. FAR is the minor with the key to the warehouse. Could this be the reason why the AMI is in such a low profile state ATM?
