While it is true that the middle east is full of underground oil-filled caves, in which mud is naturally lost, these are uncommon elsewhere.
If it was found to be a massive underground oil system the SP would sour to a few dollars of course - just a low chance of it.
EMR has become even higher risk reward than the very high level it already was.
