I respectfully refer posters to the 2013 Annual Report for details of the company’s plans and ambitions. The Chairman’s and Managing Director’s reports both give an overview of the then plans and aspirations. Notwithstanding the supportive Govt and low levels of red and green tape and supportive in-country environment, it has taken 4.5 years to ascertain the hoped for success of first gas supply contract into an initial self-admitted small scale 10MW power plant (subject to scaled increase at the option of the Govt). Such an award might generate annual revenue of $15m. Exploration and Evaluation expenditure of $22m has been incurred in the interim 4.5 years. A number of other offtakes have been mooted over the years, with progress continuing to be make towards securing one. As TG sensibly alluded to in his Report - “the path to success will not be easy - it never is”’. He expresses his confidence that “if anyone can achieve commercial success with CBM in Botswana, it will be Tlou Energy”.
